Chipmunk serial number website
By Milan Kovac on 2017-03-21

I made web site where Atari users can enter their serial numbers of Atari computers and Atari peripherals (equipment). You can also add pictures of motherboards, cases, stickers...

http://chipmunk.atari.org/

Please use it! If we type enough serial numbers, we can make some conclusion regarding Atari computer production!

Like Mark_G suggested, there is "German tank problem" calculation if you have enough serial numbers in database.

---

Also, if you have any suggestion, please write it here and I will include them first in ToDo list :) than in site.

Also please report any errors on site or in database.

And last, if someone want, I can share PHP source of web site.

Worms released for Falcon060
By The Paranoid on 2016-12-26

Insane of .tSCc. has ported the classic "Worms" game with permission from Team 17 to all Falcons equipped with a CT60. The basis was the disassembly of the 68040 Macintosh version of the game that Insane has worked himself through to port it to the Falcon with an 68060.

The release requires the original Worms data files not included in the download for obvious reasons to actually work.

Nemesis Indicator version 2.0 released!
By Daniel Hedberg on 2014-10-16

This is for all owners of Nemesis accelerated Falcon030 computers.

A few days ago I released a new version (2.0) of the Nemesis Indicator. New in this version is a CPU power saver feature that, when enabled, will turn off the Nemesis after a specified number of minutes of no user activity. Whenever user activity is detected again, the most recent Nemesis state will be restored. Version 2.0 also comes with a configuration CPX for the Atari XControl Panel, a larger selection of indicator graphics, and the complete source code (in assembler and C) for all parts of the Nemesis Indicator.

Reboot releases a new Jaguar game: Degz
By part on 2014-08-01

Yet another release from Reboot, this time it's a side scrolling arcade-style shooter, Degz. The game features two modes, one with an adjustable difficulty level, and another with a fixed, "arcade" difficulty, the latter also uses the levels from the arcade version.

Downloads are available in all the Jaguar formats, and the game works in Virtual Jaguar as well.

Go play the game, and find the easter egg.

ATARI landfill dump site to be excavated!
By Atarifreak on 2014-08-01

In September of 1983, Atari is rumored to have dumped literally millions of ET, PAC-MAN, and other cartridges, as well as unsold consoles and other items into a landfill in New Mexico. Now, a film crew is about to do an excavation of the site, perhaps giving some closure to this dark period in ATARI history. Who knows? Maybe some of what is recovered will still be in good shape, and be sold after all!

By Chris Bertrand on 2012-06-25

ST Recover can read Atari ST floppy disks on a PC under Windows, including
special formats as 800 or 900 KB, and damaged or desynchronized disks, and
produces standard .ST disk image files. Then the image files can be read in
ST emulators such as Hatari, WinSTon or Steem.

The program is free and open source.
