 The Final Word game review

Gordo 106 -- Atari

Help Gordo the monkey escape evil scientists and rescue his furry friends in this side scrolling platform game for the Atari Lynx.

Ferrari Man
Gordo helps to bring more excitment to Lynx owners everywhere. While I do admit the story is quite bizzare, the game is excellent. I had hoped for a little bit better sound, but that is a small price to pay for such an excellent game. No complaints here.

The plot to this game is definitely strange. You play the part of Gordo a lab monkey. Through various tests and experiments you have gained intelligence and you now know how to unlock your cage, and the whole point of the game is to free the other lab animals and have revenge against the cruel scientists. This game has decent graphics and sound to it. The gameplay is pretty good though a little hard to figure out at first. Not a bad game to have in your Lynx library. Well done!

Hhmmmmm...

Salamander
Gordo 106 was really cute. The crazy antics and goofy scientists in many ways reminded me of characters from Toe Jam and Earl. While this title was a lot of fun, the stone dungeons with the fire-breathing heads could be frustrating (I kept getting my butt whooped). Cool.
