Atari Jaguar

This 64-bit "next generation" system includes a 24-bit "True Color" display capable of up to 16,777,216 colors and 800 x 576 pixel resolution. Hardware support is built in for multiplanar scrolling, texture mapping, morphing effects, and scaling, rotation, distortion, and skewing of sprites and images. Other features include CD-quality sound (16-bit stereo) with Wavetable synthesis, FM synthesis, FM Sample synthesis, and AM synthesis capability.

Lynx ILynx II
One of the earliest color portable game units, the Atari Lynx features a 3.5" screen; 4096 color palette with 4-bit simultaneous on-screen color; 4 channel, 8-bit DAC sound; and a MOS 65C02 processor.
